Why couples love this one
The couples pumpkin head photoshoot is the version of the trend that people actually save and send around. Two carved jack-o-lanterns leaning toward each other, one arm around a shoulder, matching fall jackets: it is cute, a little eerie and funny all at once, and nobody has to worry about how their face looks in the picture. It also makes an easy Halloween card, a fall engagement teaser or a lock-screen photo you both use.
Most AI tools for the pumpkin head trend only handle one person and quietly break when two people are in the frame. This one is built for it: every person in your photo gets their own carved pumpkin head, in the same light, sitting naturally on each set of shoulders.
How it works with two or more people
Upload one photo where everyone is visible from at least the waist up. The tool finds every person, replaces each head with a large carved jack-o-lantern worn like a mask, and keeps bodies, poses, outfits and hands as they were. It does not add extra people, hands or limbs, and it never shows a human face above the neck. Then it moves the whole group into the scene you picked and relights it.
It is still one image, so it is still one credit, whether there are two people or five. We tested two, three and four adults in one photo before opening this up; all of them came back with a pumpkin on every head and clothes unchanged. Very large groups, people far in the background and heavily cropped shoulders are where it can struggle, so pick a photo where everyone is close together and roughly the same size.
Poses for pumpkin head couples
The best couples photos are the ones with touch. Arms around each other, foreheads almost touching, one person resting their head on the other's shoulder, holding hands while walking, or a back-to-back pose with arms crossed. With pumpkins on, a slight lean toward each other reads as affectionate; standing straight side by side reads as a slightly creepy family portrait, which is also fun if that is what you want.
Coordinate colours rather than matching exactly. One person in a cream knit and the other in a brown corduroy jacket looks intentional in every scene. Plaid with denim is the easy friend-group combination. Pick the Fall flowers scene if you want a softer, romantic version: the tool adds a small autumn bouquet to your hands.
Friends, roommates and pets
The same works for friend groups. Three or four friends in one row become a line of glowing jack-o-lanterns, which is the version that gets the most comments. Pets can join too: a dog or cat in the photo gets its own little pumpkin head.
Everyone in the photo has to be an adult who agreed to be in it, or your own pet. Photos of public figures, celebrities and anyone under 18 are not allowed, so family photos with children are not something we make. Before generating you confirm this, and anything reported to us is reviewed and removed if it breaks the rules.
Turn it into a reveal video
For an extra 5 credits, any finished couples image can become a reveal video: it opens on your real photo together for a moment, flashes, and lands on both of you with pumpkin heads in a moving Halloween night scene, music included. It is the clip that makes people stop scrolling, and it is made from the full-size image.
